Welcome to our 2026 Toddler Swim Series with Coach Tara!

Tara Shriner is a highly regarded swim instructor in Pacific Palisades. A former world-ranked competitive swimmer and 5th-generation Californian, she brings years of expertise and a patient, encouraging approach to teaching swimmers of all ages — from toddlers to adults. Through her private lessons, she specializes in building water confidence and safety skills in a fun, personalized setting. We can't wait to swim with you!

Saturdays at 9am
Starting Saturday, April 18th
Ages 2-3 years
Classes will be 30 minutes each, please arrive early.
Limit of 6 swimmers per class

Our private pool in Pacific Palisades is salt water and will be heated to 85 degrees for each class. Please remember to bring a swim suit and towel for your little one, swim diapers, any sunscreen, snacks, milk/water needed, as well as a change of clothes for afterwards. The pool will be shaded when necessary.

This class will be different from the Mommy & Me Swim we have offered in the past as the children will be old enough to begin learning how to swim on their own. Parents will not be asked to get in the water, but to please stay closeby should your child need some extra encouragement (or corraling!) at least for the first few lessons.

Snacks will be offered for both parents and children. Feel free to bring additional snacks if needed.

PRO TIP: DO NOT PUT YOUR BABY IN A SWIM DIAPER UNTIL THEY ARE READY TO GET IN THE WATER! Swim diapers DO NOT absorb pee and you don’t want a car seat mess on your hands!
